1. Nature of Professional Services
Beggin Law Firm provides legal advice, out-of-court assistance and representation in court in matters concerning immigration, citizenship, civil law and related areas.
Professional services are carried out according to the principles of fairness, diligence and good faith, in compliance with applicable legislation and the procedural deadlines established by law.
2. Best-Efforts Obligation, Not a Guaranteed Result
A lawyer's professional activity is an obligation of means and does not guarantee a specific result.
The Firm cannot guarantee:
the issuance of residence permits;
the success of appeals;
the scheduling of appointments with Police Headquarters or Prefectures;
the processing times of the Public Administration;
immediate responses from public authorities or consulates;
faster processing than the time frames established by law.
Any preliminary assessment is based on the information available at the time of the consultation.
3. Processing Times for Administrative Procedures
The Client acknowledges that many activities depend exclusively on:
the availability of the Public Administration;
the technical processing times of Police Headquarters, Prefectures, Courts and Consulates;
the availability of appointments on institutional portals;
the processing times of the competent authorities.
Urgent circumstances reported by the Client do not automatically make it possible to obtain expedited processing from the competent authorities.
4. Urgent Requests and Immediate Action
The Firm undertakes to give priority consideration to urgent situations, subject to:
the lawyer's professional schedule;
existing commitments and ongoing work;
the documents available;
the limits imposed by law and public authorities.
Sending certified emails, formal notices or urgent requests does not automatically require the Public Administration to act immediately.
5. Client Cooperation
The Client agrees to:
provide authentic, complete and up-to-date documents;
promptly communicate any relevant changes;
behave cooperatively and respectfully;
not withhold information relevant to the matter.
The Firm is not responsible for delays or consequences caused by incomplete, inaccurate or late documentation.
6. Communications
Communications are managed through:
email;
WhatsApp;
telephone;
booking platforms.
WhatsApp, email and telephone communications are intended for organizational and informational purposes and, unless otherwise agreed in writing, do not replace the formal engagement of the lawyer.
Response times may vary depending on the complexity of the request and the Firm's workload.
7. Payments and Bookings
Consultations booked online reserve the lawyer's professional time.
Unless otherwise agreed:
fees paid for consultations already provided are non-refundable;
any additional work requires a specific engagement;
all quoted amounts are exclusive of VAT.
If the requested result cannot be achieved for reasons beyond the Firm's control, this does not automatically entitle the Client to a refund for work already performed.
8. Limitation of Liability
The Firm is not responsible for:
delays attributable to the Public Administration;
malfunctions of government platforms;
unavailable appointments;
subsequent changes in legislation;
discretionary decisions by the competent authorities.
9. Fiduciary Relationship and Mutual Fairness
Beggin Law Firm bases its work on transparency, mutual respect and the effective protection of the Client.
We understand the personal and family importance of immigration matters and undertake to handle every case with professional expertise and human care, while recognizing that certain decisions depend exclusively on the competent authorities.
